We are Logan and Melissa Denlinger, a husband and wife team who have spent nearly a decade building, owning, and managing businesses across a variety of industries. Along the way, we've navigated the finances, funding, policies, people, systems, and growing pains that come with building organizations that are meant to last.
Our backgrounds bring together business administration, financial management, research, grant development, policy creation, program leadership, and business ownership. More importantly, we've spent years putting those skills to work in businesses of our own.
We know that systems have to work in real life, budgets have to balance, grant requirements have to be met, and policies have to make sense to the people expected to follow them.

Logan brings nearly a decade of business ownership, financial management, and operational experience to Anchored Impact.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration, with a foundation in financial management, business operations, organizational leadership, budgeting, and administrative systems.
Over the past 8+ years, Logan has helped build and manage businesses across multiple industries and stages of growth. His role behind the scenes has included bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, financial tracking, cash flow management, human resources, financial planning, and evaluating the everyday financial decisions that come with owning and growing a business.
That experience shapes the way he approaches bookkeeping.

Can we afford this next step? Where is our money going? Are we growing sustainably? Are our systems keeping up? What does the financial picture tell us about what should happen next?
Through Anchored Impact, Logan supports clients with ongoing bookkeeping, account reconciliation, financial reporting, budget tracking, payroll related bookkeeping, grant financial tracking, and organized financial records.
The goal is not to make business owners become accountants. It is to provide reliable financial information and stronger systems so they can better understand their business and make informed decisions about where it goes next.
Melissa Denlinger, PhD

Melissa brings a background in research, grant development and management, policy creation, organizational strategy, program leadership, and business ownership.
She holds a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies, along with graduate certificates in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, Family Diversity and Well Being, and Research Methods.
Her academic background built a strong foundation in research, program development, evaluation, and translating complex information into practical application. Years of business ownership gave her somewhere to put that knowledge to work.
Over the past five years, businesses we've owned and operated have successfully secured more than $3 million in grant funding.
Melissa has been directly involved throughout that process, from identifying opportunities and developing project concepts to writing competitive applications, creating budgets, managing funded projects, tracking requirements, and completing reporting and audits.
Those awards have supported organizational growth, facility development, expansion, health and safety improvements, program quality, and services for children and families. That full cycle experience has shaped the way we approach grant work at Anchored Impact.
A successful grant is not simply an application that gets funded. The project has to make sense for the organization, the budget needs to work, the requirements need to be manageable, and the organization needs systems in place to successfully implement and account for the funding once it arrives.
Business ownership, program growth, and years of operating in highly regulated environments have also given Melissa extensive experience developing policies, procedures, handbooks, emergency plans, compliance systems, and organizational processes.
Our approach is practical. A grant needs to work after it is funded. A policy needs to work after it is written. A system needs to make your organization easier to operate, not simply add another layer of complexity.
